Corpus Christi in Sitges is one of the most iconic and beloved festivals on Sitges's calendar, a celebration that combines religion, tradition and folk art.

Its most prominent feature is the flower carpets covering the streets in the historic town centre. Local residents and organisations work throughout the previous night to create veritable works of art. These carpets are trod upon on Sunday during the Corpus Christi Procession, led by the children who have celebrated their First Communion, accompanied by giants, bands and traditional figures in the town’s festival entourage.

Corpus Christi in Sitges also hosts a prestigious carnation display, and the streets, balconies and shops are decorated with flowers and traditional objects to participate in decoration contests that fill Sitges with colours and scents.

Declared a Festival of National Heritage Interest, Corpus Christi combines spirituality and artistic expression and turns Sitges into an enchanting, flower-filled venue that attracts visitors from all over.
